Good Samaritan residents enjoy bikes & barbecue

Residents from the Good Samaritan Society in New Underwood celebrated a small part of the 75th annual Sturgis Motorcycle Rally Wednesday, Aug. 5, when they visited the barbecue pit located at a New Underwood campground.

DeLynn Willis, activities director at the New Underwood Good Samaritan Society, said 15 residents enjoyed the barbecue pit at the invitation of the event organizers, Randy Madsen, Wendy Phillipsen and Dale and Karen Boydston. The residents enjoyed smoked brisket and pulled pork and a chance to watch the rally bustle of motorcycles leaving and re-entering the interstate at New Underwood Road.
