First winter storm arrives in New Underwood area

The first snow of the season hit New Underwood Thursday, Nov. 17. It was a good chance for area ranchers to do a trial run of their winter feeding and a check of barns and corrals to be used in case of severe winter weather. This particular snow was forecast to be followed by several weeks of warm weather, though many are still hoping for more moisture.
