Philip Hansen went home to be with his heavenly father on June 17, 2023 at the age of 88. He was living at Colorado Springs at the time.
Philip was born on November 14, 1934 in Midland, SD. He was raised on the ranch west of Philip, SD in the shadow of Stoneman Hill the youngest of 12 children. He graduated from Philip High School in 1954 and was united in marriage to Irene Drabek on December 23, 1955 in Kadoka, SD. He was a barber for 57 years including 6 ½ at Norad, Cheyenne Mountain. He also had his own shop that was in several locations in Colorado Springs. He cut hair all the way up to the week before he was hospitalized in May 2023.
Philip is survived by his twin brothers, Kenneth and Keith Hansen and his wife of 67 years, Irene; daughters Karen Kussman and Janet Hansen, son Kevin Hansen, granddaughters Michelle (Bobby) Phillips, Andrea (Charles) Wilemon and great-grandchildren Crystal Wilemon, Robert Phillips, Rowan Wilemon.
Philip is predeceased by his parents, 7 brothers and 2 sisters.
Services for Philip will be held at Church on the Ranch on Thursday, June 29th at 11am. 3685 Jeannine Dr. Colorado Springs, 80917
