Gary Lee Badwound

Gary Lee Badwound was born on November 3, 1978 in Pine Ridge, SD to Gary Badwound and Shirley Marshall.  Gary made his journey to the Spirit World on July 21, 2024 near Beulah, ND.  
Gary was a devoted son, brother, father, and friend who left a mark on the hearts of those who knew him.  Gary was a man of extraordinary kindness, compassion, and warmth.  His bright smile and gentle spirit brought comfort to all who encountered him.  His infectious laughter had the power to brighten even the darkest days.
Throughout his life, Gary faced challenges with unwavering determination and found joy in the simple things.  He had a deep passion for fishing and being on the water.  He also loved driving semi-truck and operating heavy equipment, taking pride in his work and the freedom of the open road.  Above all, he loved his children with unrelenting devotion.
Gary is survived by his mother, Kay Pettyjohn; his children, Garritt, Kristyn, Meelah, Memphis, Leighton, Kaylee, and Adyn; numerous siblings, cousins, aunts, uncles, and many dear friends.  He was welcomed into heaven by loved ones who preceded him.
Gary's legacy of love, strength, and kindness will be cherished forever by those fortunate enough to have known him.
