Brandace “Brandy” L. Dietterle-Sacrison was born June 1st, 1975, to Dennis and Sandy Dietterle in Hettinger, North Dakota. They brought her home to Athboy where she was joined by her younger brother, Chad Colter in 1978.

Brandy began school in Athboy, in rural Corson County, South Dakota. In 1986, Dennis, Sandy, Brandy, and Chad moved to Rapid City. From then until graduating in 1993, Brandy was a Rapid City Central Cobbler. In 1993, Brandy began college at Black Hills State University. In 1998 she graduated with her degree. She planned to continue her education in Chiropractic Medicine in Los Angeles, California. In 2001, she graduated with her Doctorate’s Degree in Chiropractic Medicine. Her oldest son Gage Elliot, was born in 2005.

In 2007, Brandy and Gage came back to Rapid City, SD. She began work with Dr. Bruce Crisman and moved to Alternative Healthcare Center of the Black Hills until her diagnosis in 2020. She was an amazing Chiropractor who helped anyone she could, and she had a way of making every patient she saw feel better, whether it was physically, mentally, or emotionally. Brandy was gifted that way.

In 2010, Brandy met her husband, Drew Sacrison. They began dating and in August of 2013, they were married at Besler’s Cadillac Ranch in Belle Fourche, South Dakota. They worked together on their ranch and made a life for themselves and their children. In 2012, they welcomed a son, Zane Delvin. Once again in 2014, their family was complete as they welcomed their youngest child, Jase Lee. Their family was whole and perfect.

In February of 2020, Brandy met her biggest battle: brain cancer. She fought with such tenacity, strength, and courage. Giving up simply was never an option for her, laying down and succumbing to it just wouldn’t do. She fought every day with a tenacity that was admired by all.

Brandy loved spending time outside gardening, planting flowers, and spending time with Drew and her boys doing all the daily ranch work. She so enjoyed being horseback with them all, and they loved spending time doing the things they all loved, together. Family was so very important to her. Brandy was loved by many and missed just fiercely. She loved hard and she cared so much.

Brandy had the biggest heart and always tried to put everyone else first. She was kind, smart, beautiful, and had an infectious laugh and smile. She will be missed by so many people, especially by her husband, Drew, and three sons, Gage, Zane, and Jase. She leaves behind a legacy that people will help live on through her sons.

Brandy is survived by her loving husband: Drew, wonderful sons: Gage, Zane, and Jase. She is also survived by her parents Dennis and Sandy Dietterle, as well as many other family, and friends.

She is preceded in death by her paternal grandparents: Otto and Lorraine Dietterle, her younger brother, Chad Colter, maternal grandparents, Gene and Darleen Smith, and family members, Joe Ball and Amanda Ball, and many other family, friends, and loved ones.
