Sherry Ann Humphrey Baker, aged 74 years, passed from this world after a brief and courageous battle with cancer in Arvada, Colo.
Sherry was born March 9, 1943, in New Underwood. She graduated from New Underwood High School in 1961 and went on to graduate from National School of Business and to become an alumna of the University of Phoenix.
Sherry is survived by her two daughters, Lisa, with her husband Chris Richard, Aurora Colo., and Carmen, with her husband Dave Cerrone, Arvada Colo.; two brothers and one sister survive Sherry, Bobby Humphrey, Rapid City, Harlan Humphrey, Cogswell, N.D., and Anita Davis, Omaha, Neb.; four grandchildren, Jessica Kane, David, Tyler and Kaylee Cerrone; and one great-granddaughter Kairi Kane.
She was greeted in paradise by her parents, Clarence and Jessie Humphrey.
A memorial service followed by a luncheon will be held at the New Underwood Community Church at 300 Bailey Ave, New Underwood, Friday Oct. 13, at 11:00 a.m.
A celebration of life will be held at Flagler Beach Pier, where Sherry enjoyed sunrise photography among her many friends, to be announced at a later date.
