Ramona Dell “Delly” Davis

Ramona Dell “Delly” Davis, age 63, of Hot Springs, South Dakota, died on Tuesday, December 19, 2017, at the Rapid City Regional Hospital.
Dell Williams Davis was born at Quinn, South Dakota on August 26, 1954, to H. Vincent “Vint” Williams and Louisa Jeannette Leggett Williams of Cottonwood, South Dakota.
She grew up on the Triangle Ranch attending Fairview School grades 1-7 then at Kadoka through high school.
Many happy childhood days were spent riding horseback, sketching, 4-H projects and best of all, making pets of all the ranch animals.
Dell was known for her artistic talents which she shared with pencil and paintbrush, skillful home decorating, tiling and house painting to name a few.
At 26, she moved to the Black Hills and fell in love with that area where she still resided in a beautiful spot with a view of the Seven Sisters Range. Her photos of sunrises and sunsets are awesome.
For the past 22 years her talents and people skills were shared with, not only her family, but her Kingdom Ministry through the Jehova’'s Witness Organization into which she was baptized on April 23, 1995, becoming a full-time Pioneer, serving from September 1, 2009 until her death.
Grateful for having shared her life are her sisters, Lyndy Williams Ireland (Kenny) of Philip, South Dakota, and Nancy Williams Stephenson of Hot Springs, South Dakota; her neices Nicole Ireland Nelson (Wesley) of Midland, South Dakota, and Melanie Stephenson Serres (Heath) of Glenrock, Wyoming; her nephews Vincent Ireland (Amy) of Rapid City, South Dakota, and Marty Stephenson of Hot Springs, South Dakota; all her beloved great-nephews and neices; Tom Conger and a host of other relatives and friends, too many to count.
Dell was preceded in death by her parents; her husbands, James Rumney and John Davis, and her great-niece, Jennifer Nelson.
Memorial services were held Saturday, December 30, 2017, at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Hot Springs.
Committal services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 13, 2018, at the Triangle Ranch Family Cemetery near Philip.
Arrangements are with Rush Funeral Home of Philip.
