Martha Virginia Ulrich

Martha Virginia Ulrich, age 77, of Glendive, Mont., passed away  Thursday, March 29, 2018, at the Glendive Medical Center Extended Care.

Martha was born Aug. 9, 1940, in Kadoka, a daughter of Rudolph Ferdinand and Rosa Margaret (Gillaspie) Reimann. She received her early education from Pershing Country School and graduated high school from Midland High School in Midland, with the Class of 1958. Following her high school education she attended Black Hills State College in Spearfish, where she received her degree in elementary education in 1962.

Martha was united in marriage to Marvin Ulrich  Sept. 15, 1963, in Midland. To this union four children were born, Martin, Marcella, Michael and Melanie. After being a homemaker for some time, Martha went back to teaching as a substitute teacher and a Title VII aide until her retirement.

 

She was active in LWML at her church and also various other programs with the church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Rudolph and Margaret; one brother, Chris; and one daughter, Marcella.

Martha is survived by her husband, Marvin, Glendive; two sons, Martin (Kathy) Ulrich, Glendive and Michael Ulrich,  Billings; one daughter, Melanie Ulrich. (Nic Henke) Westminster, Colo.; four grandchildren; one brother, Kendrick (Rayma) Reimann, Midland; and numerous nieces and nephews.

 Services were Monday April 2, 2018, at Our Savior Lutheran Church with Pastor Greg Lucido officiating. 

Interment followed at Dawson Memorial Cemetery in Glendive.

Silha Funeral Home, Glendive, was entrusted with the arrangements.
