Gregory Buhring

Gregory Albert Buhring, 66, of De Leon, TX, passed away peacefully on February 25, 2024. He was born on February 27, 1957 in Kadoka, South Dakota.
He is survived by his wife of almost 41 years, Sherry (Douglas) Buhring; son Clint Buhring and his wife Lisa and their children Kayla, Madyson, Clara and Lilianna; daughter Stacey (Buhring) Bunting and her husband Brandon and their children Emma and Weston; as well as his two older sisters Gloria Buhring and Janice (Buhring) Delano, several brother and sister in-laws and many nieces and nephews.
Greg was preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Esther (Omdahl) Buhring.
Family was paramount to Greg, and he cherished spending time with his wife, kids and grandkids. He took great pleasure in ranching, hunting, fishing and spending time with his angus herd, all passions he shared with his family.
Greg retired from GE Johnson after 40 years, starting as a carpenter and working his way up to superintendent. His hard work ethic and dedication were honored by GEJCC, by placing him on the company Hall of Fame Wall and by naming a conference room after him.
Greg was a man with a huge heart, leaving a lasting impact on all who knew him. His legacy of love, compassion, generosity, hard work and dedication will never be forgotten.
