Warren J. Fenner

Warren Jack Fenner, 95, passed away Tuesday, December 8, 2015.

He was born in Dalzell, S.D., the son of Newton Hack and Susie Belle Miner Fenner.

Warren married Loretta June Nelson on February 5, 1942 in Newcastle, Wyo.

He served in the Army during WWII. He was stationed in North Africa, Italy and Germany and was a P.O.W. in a German Prison Camp, for 19 months.

Warren loved spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was an avid fisherman, hunter and outdoorsman. Warren ran the largest crane in the world at the time building Little America in Salt Lake City. He loved to build America.

Surviving are his sons, Steven Jack, Jeffrey Lyn (Trudi K.), Ricky Leon (Shelly), all of Kaysville, Utah; 10 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; sister, Jean Major, Paradise, Calif.; and sister-in-law, Joan Sutton, Rapid City, S.D.

Preceded in death by son, Kelly; daughter, Mary; parents; five brothers, Ralph, Eddy, Wayne, Lloyd, Ivan; three sisters, Irma, Ruth and Gladys.

The family would like to give a special thanks to Chris Scott, of the VA. 

Memorial service were held Friday, December 18, 2015 at the Kaysville Gailey Park Ward, Kaysville.

Inurnment took place in the Kaysville City Cemetery.
