Antone opens Edible Arrangements

    When New Underwood native Michelle Antone and her family decided to make a major life change and leave their Wyoming ranch to move back to the New Underwood area to be closer to family, Michelle knew exactly what new business venture she wanted to pursue.
    “I don’t remember where I first saw Edible Arrangements, but it had been on my mind for a couple of years that it would do really well in Rapid City,” Michelle said.
Prior to moving back to New Underwood, the Antone family had ranched near Riverton, Wyo., and Michelle had worked for the federal government. “I traveled a lot with my job, and I saw Edible Arrangements stores when I traveled. I thought it was a really great gift idea,” she said.
    The decision to leave their Wyoming ranch was not an easy one. The Antones had spent 10 years on the ranch. It was the only home their two younger children, Devyn, a seventh grader, and Houston, an eighth grader, could remember. It required them leaving a school they loved and transplanting into a new school in the middle of the school year. It also meant leaving their oldest son, Drew, who studies at Casper College. But Michelle knew it was the right decision to make.
