National EMS Week celebrated

In 1974, President Gerald Ford authorized a National EMS Week to celebrate EMS practitioners and the important work they do in our nation's communities. This year marks the 49th annual EMS Week from May 21-27. This year's theme was EMS: Where Emergency Care Begins. The Jones County volunteer EMS crew celebrated with a family style meal at the ambulance shed before their monthly meeting. To all of our volunteers - you are appreciated!!!
