Motorcycle rally traffic jam

The 75th Annual Sturgis Motorcycle rally didn’t officially start until Monday, August 3, but what many refer to as opening weekend of Saturday, August 1, and Sunday, August 2, made Interstate 90 and old Highway 16 in Jones County congested with bumper-to-bumper traffic. Seventeen miles of westbound traffic on the interstate is one lane only.
