Todd County Invitational track results

The Todd County Invitational track and field event was held in Mission on Thursday, April 6.

In the girls’ division, Philip earned third place with 82 team points. Bennett County took first place with 88, and Winner took second with 84. Chamberlain – 70, Todd County – 65, Kadoka – 59, Rapid City Christian – 53, Little Wound – 23, Marty Indian – 14, White River – 13.

Jodi Williams took first place in the 200 meter dash with a time of 27.17. Williams also earned first place in the 400 meter run with a time of 1:05.20. Kelsey Hostutler took fifth with a time of 1:10.81.

The 800 meter dash had Tylissa Fitch take second in 2:42.23.

Emily Schofield took fifth in the 1600 meter run in a time of 6:45.18. She also took fifth place in the 3,200 in a time of 14:45.76. Brandy Bartels took the sixth place spot with a time of 16:09.39.

Lindsay Mann come in sixth place in the 300 hurdles in a time of 55.4 seconds.

Philip took first place in the 400 relay with a time of 53.45. The runners were Sarah Albrecht, Kenzy Pinney, Beth Lawson and Jodi Williams.

The 800 relay brought a sixth place and a time of 2:03.85 to the Philip team of Molly Coyle, Dondee Fees, Bradi Porch and Beth Lawson. In the 1,600 medley relay, Jodi Williams, Beth Lawson, Kenzy Pinney and Kayla O’Connell earned a third place with a time of 5:01.98. Philip took third in the 1,600 relay with a time of 4:43.82. The runners were Kenzy Pinney, Lindsay Mann, Sarah Albrecht and Kayla O’Connell. Philip’s 3,200 relay team took third place with a time of 11:46.3. The four runners were Kayla O’Connell, Lindsay Mann, Sarah Albrecht and Tylissa Fitch.

In the boys’ division, Philip took seventh place with 36 team points. Winner took first with 164, Kadoka – 108, Bennett County – 50, Todd County – 45, Pine Ridge – 40, Chamberlain – 38, Rapid City Christian – 27, Midland – 14, Little Wound – 12, White River – 6.

Individual results showed Dexter Livermont taking sixth place in the 100 meter dash with a time of 12.07. Livermont took fourth place in the 200 with a time of 24.88.

John Hart earned fifth place in the 800 meter dash with a time of 2:17.06.

In the 3,200 meter run, Anthony Iwan claimed second place with a time of 12:13.03.

The 800 relay had Philip coming in fourth with a time of 1:51.71. The runners were Matt Lawson, Alex Moos, Casey Elshere and Zane Fees.

Philip took third in the 1,600 medley relay with a time of 4:17.02. The runners were Matt Lawson, Tate Guptill, Dexter Livermont and Zane Fees.

Casey Elshere earned fifth place in the shot put with a throw of 40’2.75”.

Alex Moos grabbed second place in the discus with a toss of 118’2”. Midland’s S. Evans took fourth with a distance of 113’0”.

Midland’s A. Saice took third in the discus throw with a distance of 100’8”. Midland’s M. Scott took second place in the triple jump with a measurement of 36’5/8”.

The next scheduled track and field meet was “Harry’s Invitational” in Kadoka on Tuesday, April 11. The next event after that will be the Belle Fourche Tournament on Thursday, April 13.
