Terry E. Hulce
Terry E. Hulce passed away on July 4, 2008, at Rapid City Regional Hospice of the Hills after a courageous battle with cancer. His loving family by his side.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 10, 2008, at 11:00 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church in Rapid City with Pastor Wilbur Holz officiating. Burial will follow at the Black Hills National Cemetery near Sturgis with VFW Post 1273 providing military honors.
Terry was born February 6, 1949, to Emmer and Amy (Vernon) Hulce in Presho, SD. Terry grew up and graduated in Midland, SD. He served in the US Army during the Vietnam War.
Upon his return, he married Mary (Ducie) Hagan, September 11, 1971. To this union four daughters were born, Terra (Tim) Duda, Kyleen (Shane) Liebig, and twins Brittney and Brianna Hulce.
Terry was a very fun loving husband, father, grandpa and friend. He had a passion for cars and drag racing. Through this hobby he brought many smiles and built life long friendships.
He was employed for 32 years at Hubbard Milling/Con Agra. He was currently employed at Foundation Coal in Gillette, WY.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Hulce; daughters, Terra, Kyleen, Brittney, Brianna, all of Rapid City; grandchildren, Kaycee, Tianna, Tyler, all of Rapid City; mother, Amy Hulce, Midland, SD; brother, Ronald (Bud) and Lola, Philip, SD; father-in-law, Wendell Hagan, Rapid City; special family friends, Kandi (Scott) Lewis and RaeAnna Chamberlain, SD; and several nieces and nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Emmer Hulce; nephew, Joshua Hanson; and mother-in-law, Grace Hagan.
