Philip's pounding offense helped the Lady Scotties earn the championship at the 10th annual Belle Fourche Invitational Volleyball Tournament on Saturday, September 27.

Philip lost only one game and won all six of its matches during the tournament. Newell came away with a 4-2 record, having received both losses from the Scotties. Philip now stands with an overall 10-2 season record.

Also, Philip had two players named to the All Tournament Team; Sierra Hook and Abby Fitzgerald.

Philip head coach Kim Bouman praised her players, and said that they have been working hard all season. Though some games began with the opponents taking up to a six point lead, the Philip players came back with strong hitting and the kills came when most needed.
