Scotties drop season's first basketball game to Wall 40-59

The Philip Scotties boys' basketball team opened their 2009-2010 season with a game versus the Eagles in Wall on Friday, December 11. The game ended with a 40-59 loss for Philip.

The junior varsity game ended with a 30-28 win for Philip. The "C" game ended after one half with a 15-15 tie.

The next game for the Philip Scotties will start at 2:30 p.m. on Thursday, December 17, at Fort Pierre against the Stanley County Buffalos. Next, Philip will play at Edgemont against the Moguls on Saturday, December 19. The final game this calender year will be a home game at 3:00 p.m. on Monday, December 21, against the Kadoka Kougars.
