Scotties boys lose one-point squeaker to Kadoka Area

Weather caused a one-day postponement of the Philip Scotties versus the Kadoka Area Kougars basketball game. Played on Tuesday, December 21, in Kadoka. The relatively low-scoring game had the audience members on the edge of their seats. It ended with a 48-49 loss for the Scotties.

The Philip team now holds a 2-2 season record. Kadoka now has a season record of 2-1.

No further information or statistics were available on the varsity or on the junior varsity games.

The Scotties will next travel to Murdo to challenge the Jones County Coyotes, Friday, January 7, starting at 5:30 p.m. The West River Classic basketball tournament will be hosted by White River, Saturday, January 8, starting at 3:00 p.m. The next play for the Scotties will be in the Jones County Invitational tournment January 13 through 15.
