Scottie boys' golf team takes first place at Bison Invitational

The Scotties boys' golf team won the Bison Invitational Golf Tournament held at Boulder Canyon in Sturgis on April 28th.

The Philip team totaled a three person score of 260. Lemmon totaled 265 to take second place. Lyman claimed third with a 293 and Jones County, with a 297, took fourth. Eight schools were represented.

Philip's Kolby Longbrake earned the medalist, first place, honors with an individual score of 84. Lemmon's Tanner Gebhard took second place with a score of 86. Philip's Allen Hauk took third place with an 87. Other Philip players and their scores were Caleb Clements with 89, Devon Ehlers with 91, Colton Nickelson with 106, Richie Baye with 108 and Jordan Hauk with 122.

The boys and girls varsity teams will be competing in the Eagle Cup on Friday, May 2nd, at the Fountain Springs Golf Course in Rapid City.

The junior varsity will be competing at Philip in the Philip Junior Varsity Invitational on Monday, May 5th.

Boys and girls varsity will be at Hart Ranch for the pre-region meet and the conference meet will be Friday, May 9th, at the Elks Golf Course in Rapid City.
