Scottie boys flatten Moguls, 68-39

Scotties up, Moguls down ... Philip’s Jordan Hauk made a hard pass to Brandon O’Dea, who took the shot during the Philip/Edgemont game January 2

The Philip Scotties basketball team hosted the Edgemont Moguls on Friday, January 2.

Philip captured the lead in the first quarter and expanded it throughout the game. They won with a final score of 68-39. The Scotties were forcing a slower paced game. Almost half of their field goal attempts were good, with a great effort being used to get the ball almost under the basket for most of the shots. Even for the three point attempts, a Scottie was near the basket for possible rebounding.
