Philip Lady Scotties fall to Kadoka Area Kougars
The Philip Lady Scotties versus the Kadoka Area Lady Kougars basketball game, postponed because of weather from the night before, was held Tuesday, December 21, in Kadoka.

In the first quarter, the Scotties faced an onslaught by the Kadoka Area offense. Though diminishing their opponent's rate of attack, the Lady Scotties continued to fall behind in the second as well as in the third quarters. The last quarter was in favor of Philip, but by only one field goal. The game ended with a 41-64 win for the Kougars.
Philip now carries a 1-3 season record. Kadoka now has a 3-2 record.

The junior varsity game ended with a 21-19 victory for the Philip Lady Scotties over the Kadoka Area Kougars.

The Lady Scotties will next play a home game hosting the New Underwood Tigers in a non-league match, Thursday, January 6, starting at 6:00 p.m. Philip's next girls' basketball game will be in Dupree at 5:30 p.m. Saturday, January 8, against the Tigers. The following match will be at Sully Buttes versus the Chargers starting at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, January 11.
