Philip Lady Scotties end District 15B play in near repeat game with White River

The Philip Lady Scotties had defeated the White River Tigers in a close 52-50 match in the last regular season basketball game.

In Philip's first matchup in District 15B play, the Scotties lost to White River in a close 50-52 match. The Monday, February 18th, game put Philip out of the running for the following competitions hosted by White River on Tuesday, February 19th, and Thursday, February 21st.

At districts, the Lady Scotties could not hold on to the lead during the first quarter, but ended the first half with a three point advantage. After halftime the score was still close with only a one point lead for White River to start the last quarter. The game ended, this time, with the Scotties one field goal behind. The Philip girls finished the season 12-9.
