Philip High School Scottie Homecoming Week schedule

The 2009 Scottie Homecoming Parade is "Song Titles." The public is encouraged to enter floats in the parade and attend the pep band concert and rally on Friday before the parade. If an individual, group or organization would like to have an entry in the homecoming parade, contact Pamela DeJong at 859-2003.

Monday, September 28

4:00 p.m. junior high and junior varsity football at Wall (note location change)

4:30 p.m. junior high volleyball with Rapid City Christian

Tuesday, September 29

3:00 p.m. cross country at Lead

5:00 to 6:30 p.m. FFA chili feed in Commons Area (free will offering for National FFA trip)

7:00 p.m. Coronation in Fine Arts Gym. The Royalty candidates are Kelsey Hostutler, Casey Cvach, Marissa Mann, Karch Foley, Colby Smith and Troy Guptill. The attendants are freshmen Tara Cantrell and Tate DeJong, sophomores Kianna Knutson and Colter Cvach, and juniors Lissa Papousek and Hayden Clark.

Thursday, October 1

4:00 p.m. junior high volleyball with Jones County

5:00 p.m. high school volleyball at Lemmon

Friday, October 2

12:30 Philip High School pep band rally concert (The public is invited!)

1:30 p.m. parade lineup, west of Philip Motor.

2:00 p.m. Scottie Homecoming Parade

2:45 p.m. Philip High School Alumni Hall of Fame reception at Fire Hall Park

3:00 to 6:00 p.m. Homecoming supper at the new location of the Fire Hall.

5:45 p.m. parent recognition for cross country and football

6:00 p.m. Scottie football with White River Tigers.

Following the game to midnight will be the Homecoming dance in the Fine Arts Gym

Saturday, October 3

8:30 a.m. junior high volleyball at Ft. Pierre

9:00 a.m. cross country at Highmore

5:30 p.m. high school volleyball with Dupree.
