Mary Lee Nedved
Mary Lee Nedved, age 52, of Rapid City, formerly of Milesville, died Sunday, September 3, 2006, at her residence in Rapid City.
Funeral services were held Thursday, September 7, at the Evangelical Free Church in Philip, with Pastor Gary Wahl officiating.
Interment was in the Masonic Cemetery, Philip.
Mary Lee Nedved was born December 29, 1953, in Kadoka, SD, the daughter of John J. and Mae M. (Picker) Nedved. She grew up on the family farm northeast of Milesville, SD. At the age of 14, her mother died and her father and she continued to live on the farm. In 1978, they moved to Rapid City. Mary spent one year in Redfield, and six months in Spearfish before returning to Rapid City where she has since resided. She has been employed at the Black Hills Workshop since 1980.
Grateful for having shared her life is her special friend, Mark Miller; her special friends and family at the Black Hills Workshop; and several aunts and uncles.
Mary was preceded in death by her father, John J. Nedved, on September 28, 2001; her mother, Mae Picker in 1967; and her step-mother, Frances Nedved.
