Lady Scotties shoot by Jones County in 13B second round

The Lady Scotties began the District Basketball Tournament in Murdo with a win against the Jones County Coyotes 53-42.

Philip, now holding a 13-6 record, will go up against the White River Tigers for the District 13B Championship. Philip previously defeated White River 48-43 on December 21 in a Great Western Plains conference game.

White River (now 9-12), came from 17 points behind using a full court press to stop Kadoka (now 6-15) with a final score of 54-48.
