Lady Scotties defeated by Stanley Co.; triumph over Edgemont

Kaylee Nelson put one in for the Scotties after teamwork got her under the basket. The tight game was a step up "to a whole new level" by both teams, according to Coach Hix, but finally went to the Stanley Co. Lady Buffs.

Philip vs. Stanley Co.

“Both teams took the game up to a whole new level.” exclaimed Head Girls’ Basketball Coach Bobbie Jo Hix. The 35-39 loss to the Stanley County Lady Buffs was, none-the-less, a good game.

The girls definitely got the experience needed for future games. Hix said, “I’m proud of the girls. They were awesome.” The audience also got a taste of fast and exciting play, especially defensive action.
