Harvey "Harv" Langager

Harvey (Harv) Langager, 61, Las Vegas, passed away Wednesday, July 27, 2005 at Nathan Adelson Hospice-East.

Graveside services will be held August 17, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. in the Interior Cemetery, Interior, SD.

Harv Langager was born May 9, 1944 in Minneapolis, MN, and was a member of the Central Christian Church, Las Vegas, NV. He was a sales engineer with the drilling industry and served in the U.S. Army. For the past five years he has made his home in Las Vegas.

Harv’s most enjoyment came from being with his family and friends, traveling and his work in the drilling industry. He was best known for his easy-going friendliness and his practical jokes.

He is survived by his wife, Karen (Guptill) Langager, Las Vegas; two daughters, Sarah Langager, Las Vegas, and Nadene Thompson, Pierre, SD; his mother, Stella Schmitgen, Pierre, SD; one brother, Melvin; three sisters, Deloris Schmitgen, Rose Ann Cartney, and Naomia Hall; and four grandchildren, Courtney and Lindsey Thompson, Jared and Caitlin Langager.

He was preceded in death by two sons, Douglas and Aaron Langager and a sister, Johnetta Rickley.
