Golden West names Reed as new Cable TV Manager
Golden West Telecommunications has selected Rick Reed as the company's new Cable Television Manager following the January, 2007 retirement of Dwight Flatt. Reed will be responsible for the overall operations of the Golden West cable television business which now provides service in 41 communities across South Dakota.

"He is a perfect fit for Golden West with our recent purchase of 10 additional cable television systems which nearly doubles our number of cable television customers."
Reed, a South Dakota native and a graduate in electronics from Southeast Area Vo-tech in Sioux Falls, comes to Golden West with 30 years of experience in all areas of the cable television industry. He was most recently employed by Charter Communications, Inc as Operations Manager in St. Cloud, Minnesota.
He and his wife, Subby are in the process of relocating to Wall from St. Cloud and plan to be completely settled by mid August. They have three grown children, Kristopher, Savannah and Alexandra; and one grandson Gavin.
