Glo-N-Go Parade planned

Philip's annual Glo-N-Go Parade of Lights will again kick off the Christmas holiday season on Friday, November 24th.

As it gets dark (about 6 p.m.), Roger Williams will be in charge of lining up those individuals, organizations and businesses that wish to show off their handiwork of lights. Parade floats in the past have consisted of golf carts, tractors, bicycles … just about anything you can strap a light to!

The parade route will begin at the Legion Hall in Philip, proceed east on Pine Street to Center Avenue, where it will turn south, then east on Oak Street and around the block (N. on Wood, then west on Oak).

In conjunction with the Parade of Lights, the Chamber's Business Promotion committee will be serving something hot to eat at the Bad River Senior Citizen's Center on Center Avenue. Chili will be simmering and door prizes wil be given away!

For more information or to pre-register your float, please call Joe Prouty at 859-2189, Roger Williams at 859-2745, or the Chamber of Commerce office at 859-2645.
