Glen W. Lytle

A memorial service was held September 5, 2006 in Omaha, NE, Glen W. Lytle, age 88 years, formerly of Yuma, AZ, presently of Elkhorn, NE, who passed away recently.

He was a World War II veteran, fighting at the Battle of the Bulge. In 1960, he moved to Philip, SD, where Glen and Irish owned and operated the Midway Café until 1965 when they moved to California.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Irish M. Lytle; a brother, Boyd, and a sister, Betty Tonsing. He is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Judy and Richard Hauptman, Elkhorn, NE; sons, and daughters-in-law, Dick and Marilyn Lytle, Grand Junction, CO, and Bob and Debbie Lytle, Thorton, CO; stepsons and daughters-in-law, Jerry and Kay Lyn Sterner, Tucson, AZ, and Steve and C.J. Sterner, San Bernadino, CA; 12 grandchildren; and 27 great-grandchildren.
