Rena Eva Dorcas Cameron, 75, passed away on June 2, 2010.
Dorcas was born near Kadoka, S.D., to Jacob Roger and Rena Peterson on November 4, 1934. She was the third youngest of 14 children. She attended Philip schools.
Dorcas married her first husband, Eugene Reynick, in 1952. They had lived in Minnesota and the Reynick Ranch near Philip, S.D. She married Gerald Cameron on September 10, 1965, in Newcastle, Wyo., and made their home in Rapid City, S.D.
Dorcas retired from Kreseges/ Kmart after 28 years of service. She was an active member of St. Andrews Episcopal Church and member of the Dakota Chapter Studebaker Club where she held past positions of Secretary, Treasurer and Coordinator for many club activities.
Dorcas was preceded in death by her son, Todd Cameron, parents Jacob Roger and Rena Peterson, a very special Aunt Eleanor Sigloh, her ex husband Eugene Reynick, five brothers and five sisters.
Dorcas is survived by her husband of 44 years, Gerald Cameron of Rapid City; son Craig (Pam) Reynick, Meridian, Idaho, daughter, Dawn (Rick) Rowe of Hot Springs, son, Troy Cameron of Rapid City, and daughter Laurie (Jerry) Robertson of Rapid City; one sister, Virginia Barnes of Trenton, Mich.; 18 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
Services were held Monday, June 7, at St. Andrew's Episcopal Church, Rapid City, with The Rev. Kathy Monson Lutes officiating.
Burial was at Black Hills National Cemetery near Sturgis.
