Cathy married Dave Morrison on March 17, 1978 in Gillette, and together they raised three kids, Tammy, Nate and Nick.

In 1990, Cathy and Dave answered Gods call and entered into the ministry full time. In 1992, they moved to the Interior, South Dakota area and have ministered in this area ever since.

Survivors include her husband Pastor Dave Morrison of Interior; a daughter Tammy Abma and her husband Chris of Des Moines, Iowa; two sons Nathan Morrison of Interior, and Nicholas Morrison and his wife Ivy of Willis, Texas; three grandchildren Tyler Morrison, Gracious Morrison, and Janessa Abma; her parents Marion and Mary Scott of Gillette, Wyoming; three sisters Marilyn Mackey and her husband Dudley, Debbie Knutson and her husband Butch, and Cindy Dawson, all of Gillette; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Cathy has touched many, many people with her love of the Lord, her selflessness, and her faith. Cathy will be deeply missed.

I can say with confidence that she is with the Lord in Glory. I think we all can say we have been very blessed to have known her.
