Bonna Mae Hagler
Bonna Mae Hagler, of Nampa, Idaho, passed away on Sunday April 21, 2013.
Bonna was born to John and Edna O’Dea on May 15, 1932, in Philip, S.D. She attended school in Spearfish and then taught in a one room school before marrying Neal Hagler in 1954.
Throughout Bonna’s life she worked at the Idaho State School and Hospital for several years. She then worked for the Postal Service and retired after 21 years. She enjoyed bowling and playing cards with her lady friends.
Bonna is survived by her son, Doyle Hagler; her daughter, Kathy Hamilton (Noble), both of Nampa, Idaho; her grandchildren, Monica Lacy (Jeff), Kari Swain (Travis), AmandaJo Ferguson, Trampas Hagler, Tiffany Crook; great-grandchildren, Ashlynn, Troy, Hailey, Blake, Alize, and one on the way, along with numerous nieces and nephews; her siblings, Maurine and Lorraine of Idaho, Jack, Dean, Gene, Jim, Jerry, Leo, Richard, Phyllis, Lillian and Mary of South Dakota, and Rosella of Minnisota.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Neal Hagler;her parents,John and Edna O’Dea; a brother, Dennis O’Dea; and a daughter, Becky Crook.
Services will be held on Thursday, April 25, at Alsip & Persons Funeral Chapel. Burial followed at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Nampa.
