Bonna Lindquist, 72, of Pierre, formerly of Murdo, died Saturday, March 8, 2008, at her home in Pierre.
Memorial services were held at Thursday, March 13, at the Murdo United Methodist Church.
Inurnment was in the Murdo City Cemetery.
Bonna was born on July 18, 1935, one of 10 children born to Waldo and Clara (Jordan) Finck of Okaton, SD. She attended Kessler School and Okaton High School.
Bonna was united in marriage to Dean Lindquist on December 21, 1958. To this union three daughters were born, Karen, Kim and Tammy.
She enjoyed spending time with her daughters and families. She was very proud of her grandchildren and her great-grandson Keyan. Bonna especially treasured her time with the elderly - caring for them at various places in the Pierre area.
Those who will cherish her memory are her special friend, Ken Wester of Pierre; three daughters, Karen (Robert) Taylor of Davenport, IA, Kim (Terry) Deuter of Kadoka, and Tammy (Terry) Van Dam of Murdo; five grandchildren, Kayla and Cole Venard, Nichole and Tony Taylor and TaraJo Deuter; five step-grandchildren, Kara and Jon Deuter and Travis, Nick and Katie Van Dam; one great-grandson Keyan; six sisters, Irene Brink of Murdo, Betty Block of Midland, Alice Stroppel of Midland, Joyce Dykema of Murdo, Ironis Poppe of Pierre and Norma Oldenberg of Philip; two brothers, Bob Finck of Yuma, Ariz., and Kenny Finck of Newell; and a host of friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Emil Finck.
