Alice Mae Fosheim

Alice Mae Fosheim, age 72, of Irving, TX, died Monday, December 8, 2008, at the Vibra Long Term Acute Care Hospital in Dallas, Texas after a five-month battle with lung cancer.

Alice Mae Fosheim was born February 20, 1936, in Murdo, SD, one of eight children born to Roy and Mary (Marshall) Stotts.

On September 18, 1956, Alice Mae was united in marriage to Richard Wayne Fosheim of the family ranch north of Midland, to this union three children were born, Rodney Ray, Douglas Wayne, and Jodie Lynn.

Alice Mae dedicated her life to her family. She was always a hard worker and good provider for the family. She enjoyed reading, playing cards with a little gambling on the side.

Grateful for having shared her life with her three children; Rod Fosheim and his wife, Patsy, of Irving, TX, Doug Fosheim and his wife, Cindy, of De Pere, WI, and Jodie Fosheim of Irving, TX; grandchildren, Richard Douglas, Kory James, Steven Douglas, Danny Thomas, Jesse Ray Fosheim and Alissa Deanne Frisque; great-grandchild, Kaleb Moore; three brothers, Harold Stotts and wife Flavia of Okaton, SD, Roy Stotts and his wife, Joyce, of Sioux Falls, SD, and Carl Stotts and his wife, Linda, of Missoula, MT; five sisters, Ada Feddersen of Sturgis, SD, Helen Root and her husband, E.J., of Casper, WY, Lois McFall of Labelle, FL, and Pat Jensen of Kadoka, SD; in-law, Wendell Hagan; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Alice Mae was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Fosheim, on May 21, 1963; her parents; and two sisters, Grace Hagan and Mary Jones.

Memorial services were held with the immediate family on Friday, December 12, 2008, at Rod and Patsy Fosheim's home in Irving, TX.
