Glenn Vande Garde, age 84, of Kadoka, S.D., formerly of Hull, Iowa, passed away on December 27, 2012, at the Good Samaritan Center in Canton, S.D.
Services were held Monday, December 31, at the St. Paul Lutheran Church in rural Hull. The Rev. Robert Gordon officiated.
Interment was at the church cemetery.

Wesley R. Davis passed into the arms of his Savior Friday, December 28, 2012, at Fort Meade VA Medical Center near Sturgis, after a courageous battle with cancer.
He was born October 23, 1954, to H. A. "Foo" and Esther (Eisenbraun) Davis. He was baptized December 22, 1954, at the Eugene Miller home by the Reverend Holman Cowherd. He confirmed his faith in Jesus on May 25, 1969, by the Reverend Edwin Williams.

The Mass of Christian Burial for Joseph “Joe” A. Reisenauer, age 89, of Bismarck, formerly of Mott and Lemmon was held at 10:00am MT on Monday, December 31, 2012 at St. Vincent’s Catholic Church in Mott. Fr. Charles Zins will officiate, burial was in Greenhill Cemetery in Lemmon.
Visitation was on Sunday from 4:00 to 7:00 pm at the Evanson-Jensen Funeral Home in Lemmon with at Rosary Service at 7:00 pm at the Evanson-Jensen Funeral Home in Lemmon.
Serving as casketbearers are Joe’s Grand and Great Grandchildren.

Mearl E. Blosmo, 96, Spearfish, SD passed away peacefully at his home on Saturday, December 22, 2012 with his loving wife of 67 years, Lois, at his side.

Damon Lee Bohnet, 30, died Thursday, December 27, 2012 at his home in Rapid City, South Dakota.

Jessie Tibbs Keckler, 68, of Eagle Butte, S.D., passed away on November 29, 2012, at Pierre.
Jessie Tibbs was born in Pierre on November 10, 1944, one of five children of Esther "Boyd" Tibbs and Ancel Tibbs. She attended rural schools until eighth grade when she moved in with her grandmother and attended Stanley County High School, where she graduated. She attended Black Hills State University where she received her degree in education.
She married her husband of 46 years, Jerry Keckler, on August 18, 1966, in Pierre.

Ida Mae “Patty” Patterson, age 80, of Kadoka, S.D., died Tuesday, December 11, 2012, at the Hans P. Peterson Memorial Hospital in Philip, surrounded by her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
Ida Mae Shoemaker was born December 1, 1932, in Pierre, the daughter of Rollie and Eva (McKean) Shoemaker. She attended country school and graduated from Philip High School. One of Patty’s fondest memories is the old Cozy Hotel, which her parents owned and operated in Philip.

Wilma Daniel, age 98, of Philip, S.D., died Friday, December 14, 2012, at the Kadoka Nursing Home.
Wilma Orpha Ernst Daniel was born December 3, 1914, near Bloomfield, Iowa, the second of five children born to Emanuel and Iva (Provo) Ernst. In 1919, the family moved to a ranch 28 miles north of Midland. She attended grade school in a country school and high school in Midland.

Mass of Christian Burial was Tuesday, December 18, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. at the Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Bison. Fr. Tony Grossenburg officiated. Burial was at 3:00 p.m. at the Black Hills National Cemetery near Sturgis Tuesday afternoon.

Abbie Dugan passed away December 2, 2012, of Alzheimer’s. She was born in Murdo, South Dakota on January 19, 1931. She was a remarkably talented woman and had numerous hobbies. Her devotion to her children, strong will and compassion made her a perfect mother and friend. She will be thought of and missed every day. She is survived by her children, Linda Dugan, Teri Brannan, Kent (Spring) Dugan, Kelly Dugan, Pat (Melinda) Dugan, granddaughter Robyn (Kurt) Brannan and great-grandson Chase Brannan.
