Lois Mae Gillis Zaugg

Lois Mae Gillis Zaugg was born August 23, 1936, to Harold and Cora (Peterson) Gillis at Montevideo, Minn. She attended Montevideo School, graduated from high school in 1954, attended Crookston School of Practical Nursing, Crookston, Minn., and graduated in 1955, then attended University of Minnesota for one year.
Lois worked as a licensed practical nurse from 1955-1960 at Montevideo Hospital, at Northern Pacific Railroad Hospital, St. Paul, Minnesota, University of Minnesota Hospital and Mt. Sinai Hospital, Minneapolis, Minn.


Anton "Tony" Lebeda

Anton (Tony) Lebeda, 85, of Presho, passed away Friday, November 9 at Maryhouse Nursing Care Center in Pierre.
Anton was born June 14, 1927 in Murdo, SD to Thomas and Sophia (Kroupa) Lebeda. He grew up in Murdo where he attended school. In 1944 he joined the Army and served until 1946.
On December 9, 1955 he was united in marriage to Margaret Mitchell in Pierre. Tony worked as a delivery truck driver, miner and farmhand. He was a member of the American Legion.
Tony enjoyed working on lawn mowers, and enjoyed the outdoors and spending time with his grandchildren.


M Roger Westerberg

M. Roger Westerberg, 78, of Sturgis and formally of Faith SD, died, Monday, November 19, 2012 at his home in Sturgis.
He lived in Mitchell, SD from age three to twenty five years; except for the three years in the US Marine Corps. He graduated
from High School in 1951. He graduate from Dakota Wesleyan University in 1958 and earned two Master’s Degrees from
South Dakota State University. He was married in 1956 and later divorced in 1988. He was blessed with four sons, Duke, Bill, Jim, and Curtis who was born and died in 1961.


Harold Orlando Kilness

Harold Orlando Kilness, 82, Howes, SD, died Friday, November 9, 2012, at the David M. Dorsett Healthcare Center in Spearfish.
A prayer service was held at 9:00 a.m. Saturday, November 17, 2012, at Bethel Lutheran Church in Faith. Funeral services followed at 10:30 a.m. at Bethel Lutheran Church in Faith with Pastor Wayne Olson officiating. Burial followed at the Faith City Cemetery.


Robert C. Fowler

Bob Fowler, 85, died on Thursday, November 15, 2012, at his home.

Marcie Locken

Mass of Christian Burial for Marcie Locken, age 26, of Isabel was held at 10:30 a.m., MT Monday, November 12, 2012 at the Isabel Community Center. Burial was at the Hillsview Cemetery in Isabel under the direction of Kesling Funeral Home of Mobridge, South Dakota. There was a prayer service Sunday at 7 p.m. at the Community Center in Isabel.
Marcie passed away November 7, 2012 at the West River Health Services in Hettinger, North Dakota.


Harry A. Severson

Harry A. Severson, age 86, Clark, died Saturday evening, November 3, 2012, surrounded by many family members in the Prairie Lakes Hospital at Watertown, SD.
Funeral services were held Thursday, November 8, 2012, at the St. Paul Lutheran Church at Clark, with The Reverend Robin Schaunaman officiating. The honorary casketbearers were his granddaughters and great-grandchildren with the active casketbearers being his grandsons. Dorothy Fuller was organist with Roger Nordhus the soloist.
Burial with full military honors followed in the Rose Hill Cemetery at Clark.


Wesley Bruce Printz

Wesley Bruce Printz, 82, Sturgis, died Monday, November 5, 2012, at Sturgis Regional Hospital.
Memorial services were held Thursday, November 8, 2012, at Grace Lutheran Church in Sturgis, with Pastor Will Olsen officiating. Inurnment with military honors followed at Black Hills National Cemetery near Sturgis.


Marilyn F. Gillaspie

Marilyn F. Gillaspie, age 68, of Midland, S.D., died Friday, November 9, 2012, at her home in Midland.
Marilyn Wiedower was born August 25, 1944, in San Diego, Calif., the daughter of Joseph and Odelia (Muller) Wiedower. She grew up in San Diego and graduated from the Academy of Our Lady of Peace High School.


Juanita Goodsell

Juanita (Snell) Goodsell, 82, passed away November 8, 2012, at the David M. Dorsett Home in Spearfish, S.D.
Memorial services were held Tuesday, November 13, at Nemo Community Church in Nemo.
Juanita was born February 21, 1930, in Wall, the second of five children of George and Johanna (Bastian) Snell. She grew up in the Quinn, Pedro and Cottonwood areas. She went to grade school at the Miller Country School. Her transportation was her horse. She attended high school in Quinn, living in the boarding house.
