Bonnie Mae Riggins______________________________

Bonnie Mae Riggins, age 87, of Kadoka, S.D., passed away serenely at her home, Friday, September 13, 2013, after a stoic battle with multiple myeloma. She went to be with her Lord.

Kelly D. Jones__________________________________

Kelly Douglas Jones, age 62, Quinn, S.D., a kind and gentle man, passed from this earth September 7, 2013, at Rapid City Regional Hospital after his upbeat and courageous battle with cancer.
Kelly was a friend to all who met him. His crazy wit, his readiness to help and his loving nature endured him to all. His artistic ability ranged from creating miniature, detailed clay figures and small wood carvings to wooden signs Kelly carved for homes and businesses in Wall and Quinn.

Rains make bridge a hazard

The existing bridge on 178th Street near Bison, S.D., has been deteriorating over the last year but after Saturday, September 7th's rain it is now an extreme problem. The county is assisting the Bison Township with this problem. The plan is to put a box culvert in where the current bridge is but the box culvert is not here yet. So to make the road passible the county is going to make a detour road, on Thursday, to the east of the bridge. There are two parents who travel this road to get four children to school.

LeNae L. Ellison

LeNae Louise Ellison, 74, of Bowman, North Dakota, passed away on Thursday, September 5, 2013 at Southwest Healthcare Hospital after a three year courageous battle with cancer. A family Service was Friday evening at 7:00 p.m. at the Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Ludlow, South Dakota. Funeral services were at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 7th, at the Bowman Lutheran Church, Pastor Susan Fox officiated. Burial was at Hettinger Cemetery, Hettinger, N.D., after a celebration of fellowship with family and friends.

Barbara Reisenauer

The Mass of Christian Burial for Barbara Reisenauer age 89, of Bismarck, formerly of Mott and Lemmon will be held at 10:00 a.m. MT on Friday, September 13, 2013 at St. Vincent's Catholic Church in Mott. Burial will be in Greenhill Cemetery in Lemmon, South Dakota.
Visitation will be on Thursday from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Evanson-Jensen Funeral Home in Lemmon.with a Rosary Service at 7:00 p.m. at the Evanson-Jensen Funeral Home in Lemmon.
Barbara passed away on Friday, September 6, 2013 at St. Vincent's Care Center in Bismarck.

Kelly Jones, age 62 of Quinn, S.D., died Saturday, September 7, 2013, at the Rapid City Regional Hospital.
Survivors include three sisters, Donna Jones of Denver, Colo., Judy Uminski and her husband, Tony, of Universal City, Texas, and Mary Molliconi of Littleton, Colo.
Kelly was preceded in death by his father, Harvey “Doug” Jones, and his mother, Mary E. Jones.
Funeral services are pending with the Rush Funeral Chapel of Wall.

Wanda L. Holcomb, age 84, of Long Valley, S.D., joined her Lord and Savior on September 9, 2013. She passed peacefully at the Philip Nursing Home.

Marie Denke, age 87 of Wall, S.D., died September 8, 2013, at the Good Samaritan Center in New Underwood.
Marie H. Hamann was born October 21, 1925, at Creighton, the daughter of Henry and Christina (Sieler) Hamann. She attended high school in Hill City and graduated from Black Hills School of Business in Rapid City.

Mary Deis, age 90 of Philip, S.D., died Monday, September 9, 2013, at the Hans P. Peterson Memorial Hospital in Philip.
Mary M. (Sahli) Deis was born February 3, 1923 at Zeeland, N.D., to Kasper and Julia (Gabriel) Sahli. She and her parents moved to Roscoe where she grew up and received her education.

Audrey Louise Gerlach, a twin and the youngest of five children,
was born January 31, 1919, to Oscar and Mary (Weinandy) Lund on a ranch near Faith, S.D. Audrey's mother passed away two days later. Her father was left to
raise five children, two of them newborns and the oldest only five years old.
Audrey and her siblings attended the one-room school at Arrowhead where their father drove the horse-drawn school bus. After graduating from Faith High School in 1936, she and her twin sister Joan came to Rapid City to
