The Haakon District 27-1 Board of Education has approved the 2011-2012 budget.
Revenues coming in for the general fund should total $1,936,337, while the general fund expenditures are predicted to be $2,101,482. The difference will come out of the district's reserve funds, which currently are at $700,000.
The capital outlay revenue should be $396,889, with projected expenditures of $474,697. Special education revenue should be $329,629, with expenditures of $337,508. Incoming funds for pensions should be $75,401, with expenditures of $71,077.
