On March 26, 2007, the ironworker manufacturing company in Philip received delivery of a second such machine.

The two computerized systems for manufacturing parts for hydrolic ironworkers will operate separately from each other.

"We actually changed our name from Moodie Implement last Friday. We answered the phones 'Grossenburg Implement' on Saturday and some callers hung up, thinking they had the wrong number," said Joe Woitte, who remains the service manager and is also now the new general manager of Grossenburg Implement in Philip.

Some things will remain the same at the implement company. All 16 employees at the Philip store will remain with the new organization.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, March 20, at the Belvidere Community Church in Belvidere, with Pastor Gary McCubbin officiating.

Verle A. Crown, age 87, of Wall, died Saturday, March 17, 2007, at the Clarkson Mt. View Healthcare Facility in Rapid City.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, March 20, at the United Methodist Church, with Pastor Brad Kattelmann officiating.

Roger Dale Neiffer, age 72, of Kadoka, passed away Sunday, March 11, 2007, with his life partner, Pat, and his children at his side at the Hans P. Peterson Memorial Hospital in Philip, SD.

Services were held Wednesday, March 14, at the Kadoka City Auditorium, with Father Bryan Sorensen officiating.

Music was provided by Boyd Porch, Carl Bauman and John Kaiser. Ushers were Rick Wilmarth and Paul Briggs. Pallbearers were Bob and Bill Bauman, Dan Smiley, Jerry Sharp, John Madsen and Verne Richardson.

Emil Muller, age 95, passed away at a Rapid City nursing home on Sunday, March 11, 2007.

Visitation will be held 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, March 16, at the Rush Funeral Chapel in Wall, and one hour preceding the services at the church on Saturday.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m.

Cora Jean Snyder, age 81, of Philip, died Saturday morning, March 10, 2007, at the Hans P. Peterson Memorial Hospital in Philip.

Graveside services were held Monday, March 12, at the Black Hills National Cemetery near Sturgis, with Chaplain Moe Greiner officiating.

Cora Jean Ward was born March 17, 1925, in Philip, SD, the daughter of Chandler Hiram and Ethel (Hunt) Ward. She graduated from Quinn High School and attended two years of nursing school at St. Mary's Hospital in Pierre.

Jean was united in marriage to Stewart Snyder on December 31, 1946.
