Anna Lee Humphrey, 84, of Wasta, S.D., went home to be with the Lord on March 29, 2013. As a caring wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother she will be missed deeply by the family she cared so much about. She is remembered for being the loving wife, mother, role model, and friend to many.

Nicholas Herman Koenigs, 68, or Cheyenne, Wyo., died Tuesday, March 26, 2013, at the Davis Hospice Center.
He was born on July 11, 1944, in Fond du Lac, Wis., and had lived in Cheyenne for the last fifteen months with previous residency in Douglas, Wyo.
Nick attended St. Mary’s Grade School in Marytown and New Holstein High School. He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.

Bernadine Wenzel, age 70, of Wessington Springs, S.D., died early Tuesday morning, April 2, 2013, at the Avera McKennan Hospital in Sioux Falls.
Funeral services were held Friday, April 5th at the United Methodist Church with Pastor Martin Avery officiating. Burial followed in the Prospect Hill Cemetery.
She was born on September 27, 1942, at Spencer to Bernard and Irene (Franey) Clark. She graduated from Spencer High School in 1960 and preceded her education to Cosmetology to Stewarts in Sioux Falls.

John Wayne Bockman, 53, Leavenworth, KS passed away Monday, April 1, 2013, at Cushing Memorial Hospital. John was born December 9, 1959, the son of Harold W. and Carol (Bieber) Bockman. On April 30, 1983, he married Marla J. Werner. John served in the United States Army for six years. Following his military service he went to work for the United States Federal Penitentiary in Leavenworth for 22 years. He was a member of Rock of Ages Lutheran Church (WELS), Kansas City, MO. He greatly enjoyed spending time with his wife, children and grandchildren.

Carol Lee was born in Rapid City, South Dakota to Jerry and Linda Maas on September 17, 1962. She lived on six ranches while growing up including the King Ranch south of Belvidere, South Dakota where her father was employed by Johnny Daum of Okaton.
Carol was shy and wasn’t very talkative in her early years. Even so, while attending a backyard Child Evangelism Fellowship Bible Club, sponsored by her mother, Carol prayed out loud to receive Jesus Christ as her Savior.
