Jerald W. “Jerry” Harder___________

Jerald W. “Jerry” Harder, age 87, died at Rapid City Regional Hospital on Thursday, April 24, 2014.
Jerry was born on October 30, 1926, to Elmer and Sophia (Laur) Harder in Burke, S.D. He was raised in Gregory, where he graduated from high school in 1944.
He entered the United States Navy in 1944 and served for two years. Following his discharge he attended South Dakota State University in Brookings. He received a bachelor of science degree in history and science in 1951. He taught history and coached at Philip from 1952-54.


Lydia “Jackie” Gunhammer________________________

Lydia “Jackie” Gunhammer, age 61, of Belle Fourche, died Thursday May 1, 2014, at Rapid City Regional Hospital in Rapid City.
Lydia “Jackie” Gunhammer was born January 3, 1953, in Belle Fourche. She was the daughter of John and Lydia (Clairmont) Gunhammer.

Luther Gay Hatle_______________________________

Services for Luther Gay Hatle, known as Gay to his family and friends, age 77, of Meadow, S.D., were held Saturday, April 26, 2014, at the Indian Creek Lutheran Church south of Meadow.  Pastor Harold Delbridge officiated with burial in the Chance Cemetery.
Serving as casketbearers were Bob and Mike Moser, John Grate, Jens Hanson, Wade Derflinger, Del May, Les and Dave Lensegrav.  Nick Pagliaro and Levi Butts were Honorary Bearers.


Theodore “Ted” John Degen, Jr._______

Theodore (Ted) John Degen, Jr., 77, of Cottonwood, S.D., passed away on April 26, 2014.
He was born in Alexandria on February 5, 1937, to Theodore John Degen, Sr. and Francis Degen.
His wife, Mattie Degen, was by his side when he passed.
He spent his life working construction jobs and handling heavy equipment. He had a love of hunting and fishing.


Jerry Iron Moccasin_______________________________

Funeral services for Jerry Iron Moccasin, 53, of Kadoka, S.D., formerly of Eagle Butte and Timber Lake, were held Saturday, April 26, at the Old Agency Building, Eagle Butte. Jerry will be cremated and his remains buried with his mother at the Timber Lake Cemetery at a later date.
Jerry entered the spirit world April 18, 2014, near Philip.
